1) Tagalog ang entry na ito.
2) Sa wakas nakapag-download na rin ako ng Adobe Photoshop CS3! Sa wakas! Hindi na ako naghanap ng CS4, halos pareho lang naman ang features. Mahirap makahanap ng maayos na torrent ng CS4. Nakuha ng kaibigan ko ang torrent sa thepiratebay.org.
3) Hindi maintindihan ng auntie ko na hindi madaling mag-edit ng isang video. Lalo pa’t isang video na 6hours katagal!! Ang gusto niya, matapos ko in 4 days. Hindi ata iyon posible. Spring break ko nga pero marami din naman akong ginagawa liban sa mga school work. Hindi ko nga alam kung paanong sa akin napunta ang pag-eedit ng video ng 40th birthday ng kaibigan niya.
4) Tagalog ang entry na ito dahil kagagaling ko lamang sa blog ng isang astig guro sa dati kong paaralan, ang Ateneo. Sayang hindi ko naging guro sa Filipino si Yol Jamendang. Napakagaling niya 
5) Tuwang tuwa ako nang mainstall ko na ang Adobe Photoshop CS3 ko! 
Sa sobrang tuwa, hindi ko malaman kung ano ang una kong gagawin. Pabalik-balik ako sa mga files ko, hindi makapili kung gagawa ba ng gif, magreretoke ng pictures o gagawa ng kung anong “art”. Nauwi ako sa pagretoke ng pictures dahil nainspire ako ng My Damn Channel series sa YouTube na You Suck at Photoshop. Nainspire talaga ako dahil talagang I suck at Photoshop.
6) Hinatid ko kanina ang order na empanada ng kapatid ko sa Journal Square Path Station. Estasyon ito ng tren dito sa Jersey City. Masasakyan mo dito ang tren na magdadala sa iyo sa New York. Sa loob lamang ng 20-30 minuto nasa New York ka na
7) May dalang mabigat na paper bag ang kapatid ko. Nagpalitan kami ng supot: kanya ang empanadang dala ko, sa akin na ang mabigat na paper bag na dala niya. Christmas gift daw nila iyon sa amin. Marso na. Wala kaming regalo sa kanya.
Iba’t ibang pagkain galing sa Trader Joe’s ang laman ng mabigat na paper bag. Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dalawang klaseng cookies, dalawang klaseng tsokolate, artichoke spread, corn salsa, pretzel chips at crunchy green beans. Kaya pala napakabigat ng paper bag na iyon!
9) Pumunta ako ng bangko bitbit ang mabigat na paper bag. Sumakay ako ng bus pauwi pagkatapos. Hindi ako nawala.
10) Iniwan ang pinsan ko dito sa bahay mula umaga hanggang hapon. Frog ang tawag ko sa pinsan ko (pero sikreto lamang iyon) dahil may litrato siyang may frog sa ulo. Isang taon pa lamang siya. Naglaro sila ng ampon naming tinatawag namin ng kaibigan ko na Buttered. Battered wife kasi ang nanay niya.
11) May lolo din kaming inaalagaan ngayon. Kahapon siya dumating. Tatay siya ng kaibigan ng tiyahin ko. Wala daw mag-aalaga dahil naoperahan ang asawa ni lolo at may trabaho ang anak nila. Hindi na maiwan si lolo sa bahay dahil uliyanin na. Kanina, labas pasok siya sa kwarto ko (gulat na gulat ako 
). Bubuksan niya ang pinto ng kwarto ko, ngingiti, magmumukhang nawawala at sabay hahanapin ang damit niya sa akin.
12) Graduation ng pinsan ko kahapon. Congratulations, Ate!!
13) Masaya talaga akong nag-iisa.
14) Hindi ako masaya sa pag-memerge ng Washington Mutual (bangko ko) at Chase. Hindi ko gusto ang Chase.
15) Mayroon kaming bagong business.
16) Malapit na matapos ang spring break. Hindi pa din ako nagsisimulang magtrabaho para sa extra credit ng Swimming class ko.
17) Hindi ko naisip na maraming nangyari at marami akong iniisip sa araw na ito.
18) Inaantok na ako.
19) Maglalaro kami ng Categories bukas, a las 9 ng umaga EDT. Sali na!
20) Nasan ang ika-bente?

The Whole Magalona Family
Today was Francis’ last day. He was buried at Loyola Memorial this morning after being cremated. I ask for everyone’s prayers for the family, especially the children. I know everything will start to sink in as things start to wrap up. The next days will be the most difficult.
Please pray for them.

This quote I found reminded me of Francis Magalona. Judgment never stopped him from making his music the way he wants to do it. Never stopped him from blossoming in photography. Never stopped him from showing his Filipino pride. He continue on with all his passions nomatter what people said.
He’s my brother-in-law and he just passed away last Friday, 6th of March. He was diagnosed with Leukemia late last year. He fought the sickness so bravely. I look up to him and to all the works he has done. He was a really talented man and I am really sad that he had to leave us. If only he could just stay here and continue on what he was doing.. But, as Maxene and Saab had said, though he was young (only 44), Francis has accomplished so much not just for himself and for his family but for the whole country. He lived his life fully and what he has left us will surely continue on even if he’s not physically here anymore.
I’ve actually been watching YouTube videos of his interviews when he was still alive, and also some of his concert and music videos. While I was watching it, I still feel he’s just here and that he’s still alive. His music, his art, his photographs, Maxene, and all his kids, all these will really keep him alive. Now I feel like crying again 
I also admire Ate Pia so much. I admire the entire Magalona family but I’m giving extra credit to Ate Pia. Just like Francis, she is also very brave. I really can’t imagine how she is going through all of this. Losing a partner in life, especially someone you are truly and deeply connected with, it can’t be easy. I admire her because she is unselfish. She knows this has greater purpose..
I’ll probably have more entries about Francis in the next days.. His death has been moving me so much (and I mean SO MUCH) unexpectedly. I’ve been having small crying moments everyday since he passed. I will miss him.

I’m still learning how to use Word Press. I’ve used Blogspot since 2003 but I think it’s slowly losing its appeal. I don’t know. Must be a phase. I’ve also used Tumblr and Plurk. I really like Tumblr but I don’t think “wordy” entries are appropriate there. Plurk is a bit addicting. I’ve gotten so used to micro-blogging that I’ve forgotten how to write full text entries! I’m a bit rusty. Please bear with me!
The Indie Girl is my alter ego therefore she deserves a new adventure in a new blog host lol.
